WASHINGTON - Senior forward
Cassidy Perry (Frederick, Md.) recorded a monster game here Wednesday evening in the Field House to lead the Gallaudet University women's basketball team to an 82-64 victory over Lancaster Bible in a United East Conference game.
Perry finished the game with career high 35 points, 19 rebounds (also career high), seven assists and four blocks. Perry swished 11 of 14 in free throws.
Gallaudet (3-3, 1-0 United East) outscored Lancaster Bible (1-5, 0-1 United East) in every quarter except the 3rd quarter and took a 41-25 lead into halftime.
GU had three players in double digits for points led by Perry and followed by first year forward
Cam Lexow (Abington, Pa.) who finished with 16 points, nine rebounds and one block. Senior guard
Rajena Guettler (Frederick, Md.) tallied 16 points, eight boards and seven assists.
The Chargers were led by sophomore forward Raven Hunter, who finished with 29 points and seven rebounds.
