WASHINGTON - The Gallaudet University women's soccer team hosted Lancaster Bible College under the lights on Saturday night in a United East Conference - Volt Division game, the first home conference contest of the season. The Bison played strong defense against the Chargers as the visitors won, 4-0, in the 70-minute game.

Gallaudet (4-6, 0-3 Volt Division) surrendered an early goal to Lancaster Bible (9-3, 3-1 Volt Division) just two minutes in but then locked down on the Chargers for the rest of the first half. LBC held a 2-0 lead at the half.

In the second half, the Chargers added two additional goals in the 46th and 61st minute. 

Junior goalie Lilian Nelson (Minneapolis, Minn.) made eight saves in the loss.

Gallaudet will play host to Regent University (3-4-4) on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at 4 p.m. at Hotchkiss Field.
