ABINGTON, Pa. - Gallaudet University aced its second road United East Conference women's volleyball match here Friday night with a straight-set sweep, 3-0, over Volt Division foe Penn St.-Abington.
Gallaudet (18-3, 2-0 Volt Division) recorded 17 aces as they won 25-17, 25-21, 25-15 over the Nittay Lions (7-9, 1-1 Volt Division).Â
Senior outside hitter
Natalie Clayberg (Pella, Iowa) led the way with seven aces. Junior setter
Ella Gamble (Cullowhee, N.C.) passed out 33 assists and tallied three aces while senior libero
Leila Sicoli (Austin, Texas) made 14 digs. Sophomore outside hitter
Citrine Lummer (Frederick, Md.) made 12 kills and junior opposite
Cassidy Perry (Frederick, Md.) had 11.
