ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. - For the opening 25 minutes the Gallaudet University women's soccer team kept St. Mary's College of Maryland off the scoreboard here Tuesday night in a United East Conference - Volt Division game.
Gallaudet (4-9, 0-5 United East) had its nine players back on defense for the night as the Bison did not register a shot in the 70-minute game as the Seahawks won, 9-0.Â
St. Mary's (4-6-3, 2-2-1 United East) broke through in the 25th minute with its first goal and quickly built a 6-0 halftime lead. In the second half, the Seahawks added three more goals past GU goalie
Lilian Nelson (Minneapolis, Minn.), who made 14 saves.Â
