Gallaudet drops conference game on the road

ABINGTON, Pa. – The Gallaudet University men's soccer team dropped a 14-0 game to the hands of Penn St.-Abington here Saturday in a United East Conference – Volt Division game.

Gallaudet (0-11, 0-7 United East) recorded four of its five shots in the second half as Penn St.-Abington (7-4-3, 4-0 United East) built a 10-0 first-half lead and tacked on four goals in the second half.

Bison goalie Troy Holcomb (Fremont, Calif.) made three saves in the first half while fellow sophomore Matteo Giansanti (Rome, Italy) made seven saves in the second half.

First-year Samson Abraham (Seattle, Wash.) led GU with two shots on goal in the loss.

Penn St.-Abington received four goals from Arsene Bado and three from Eljo Agolli (one assist) in the win.

UP NEXT
GU will head to St. Mary's College of Maryland on Tuesday, Oct. 17, for a 4:30 p.m. Volt Division game.
