Box Score AURORA, N.Y. - The Gallaudet University men's basketball team ventured north this weekend and dropped a 69-50 United East Conference game to Wells College here Friday night.
Gallaudet (2-17, 2-10 United East) took a brief lead over Wells (13-8, 7-5 United East) in the opening minutes before the Express gained control. The Bison stayed within striking distance of Wells until the final minutes before intermission. The Express took a 34-25 lead into the half.
In the second half, Wells led by double digits for the majority of the time as the Bison got outscored 35-25.
Sophomore forward Lance Wood (Fishers, Ind.) led the Bison with 11 points, six rebounds and two steals. Sophomore guard Rory Lewis (Frederick, Md.) finished with eight points, five rebounds and three assists
Freshman forward Brandon Chung (Kahului, Hawaii) added eight points and four rebounds while fellow freshman center Alex Antsiferov (North Charleston, S.C.) tallied eight points, seven rebounds and two blocks off the bench.
The Express was led by guard Jarek Feliz with 15 points, 11 rebounds and two assists.

- Wells swept the season series as the Express won 74-56 last month (Jan. 14) in the Field House
- With tonight's loss, GU is officially eliminated from the United East Conference tournament
