Box Score WASHINGTON - The Gallaudet University men's basketball team dropped a 98-58 United East Conference game to Lancaster Bible College here Tuesday evening before a Bison crowd of 130.
The Chargers (13-6, 9-1 UEC) led from start to finish and jumped out to a 20-3 lead and never looked back. Lancaster Bible led 45-24 at the half and outscored the Bison by 19, 53-34, in the second.
Gallaudet (2-16, 2-9 UEC) was led by sophomore guard Rory Lewis (Frederick, Md.), who scored 14 points followed by freshman guard Malosi Viena (Waipahu, Hawaii) with eight points, two rebounds, one block, and a steal. GU had four other players finish with six points each. Freshman forward Brandon Chung (Kahului, Hawaii ) snatched a game-high 10 rebounds to go with six points. Junior guard Corey Smith (Miami, Fla.) and freshman center Alex Antsiferov (North Charleston, S.C.) came off the bench to score six and grab three rebounds each. Sophomore forward Lance Wood (Fishers, Ind.) was the fourth Bison with six points and ripped down three boards.
Sophomore guard Jordan Shewbridge led the Chargers with 19 points, three rebounds, three steals and two assists. LBC had three other players tally 12 points each in the win.
