Box Score JENKINTOWN, Pa. - The Gallaudet University men's basketball team dropped a 72-48 United East Conference game on the road Wednesday nigth to Penn St.-Abington.
Gallaudet (1-12, 1-5 United East) kept things close in the first half and only trailed by one, 27-26, at the break.
In the second half, the Bison kept close to the Nittany Lions (8-6, 2-3 United East) before they pulled away down the stretch. Penn St.-Abington outscored Gallaudet 45-22 over the course of the final 20 minutes of play.
Sophomore guard Rory Lewis (Frederick, Md.) led the Bison with 17 points while freshman Brandon Chung (Kahului, Hawaii) scored 10 points and grabbed eight boards in the loss.
Penn St.-Abington was led by guard Alex Podolski's 17 points and nine rebounds.

Gallaudet will travel to Lancaster, Pa., on Saturday, January 22, to take on the Chargers of Lancaster Bible College in a 4 p.m. conference game.
