Box Score WASHINGTON - Gallaudet University women's basketball prevailed here Sunday afternoon in a 72-69 victory over Keuka College in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) showdown in the Field House.
Gallaudet (4-7, 2-1 NEAC) shot a season best 50.0 percent from the field (29-for-58) and outscored Keuka (5-5, 1-2 NEAC) in the second half, 41-36.
It was a close game throughout in a rematch of last year's NEAC tournament semifinal where GU won by six, 60-54. The Wolves took the regular-season meeting by three points, 76-73, last season.
Freshman forward Cassidy Perry (Frederick, Md.) scored a career best 26 points to go with 11 rebounds for her fourth double-double this season. Perry added two assists, two steals and one block in 35 minutes played. Junior guard Emelia Beldon (Frederick, Md.) matched her career-high with 21 points to go with seven assists, four steals and two rebounds. This was the second straight game that Beldon posted a season high for points.
Keuka was paced by Riley Record's 20-point performance while two other Wolves recorded double-digit point totals in the loss.
