Gallaudet falls to Washington College, 6-2

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Gallaudet University baseball team lost, 6-2, here Sunday to Washington (Md.) College on the second day of the Bison Baseball Classic being held at Hoy Field.

Gallaudet (2-2) battled back from an early deficit to cut the Shoremen (2-0) lead to three, 5-2, in the sixth inning. Senior Cameron Upton (Vicksburg, Miss.) grounded out to score freshman Josh Dugan (San Antonio, Texas).

Washington College added an insurance run in the sixth in the nine-inning game.

Sophomore Austin Sliva-Wynne (Richmond, Texas) pitched seven strong innings for the Bison in the loss. He allowed six runs (four earned) on seven hits, three walks and six strikeouts.
