Box Score MORRISVILLE, N.Y. - Junior guard Noah Valencia (Riverside, Calif.) should've passed out umbrellas here Saturday as Gallaudet University went up against Morrisville State College in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) men's basketball game. Valencia made it rain indoors as he recorded 10 3-pointers en route to a game-high 38 points but it wasn't enough as GU lost, 92-86, to the host Mustangs.
Gallaudet (3-15, 3-7 NEAC) trailed by five points, 46-41, at the half and added 45 points in the second half.
Valencia made six of his 10 3-pointers in the second half where he scored 22 of his 38.
Freshman guard Corey Smith (Miami, Fla.) came off the bench to add 16 points while junior Trace Martin (Shingle Springs, Calif.) added 11.
Morrisville St. (14-3, 9-0 NEAC) had five players in double figures led by Lamel Faison's 19-point performance to go with seven rebounds and seven assists.
