CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - The Gallaudet women's basketball team needed overtime to defeat Wilson College, 78-76, Wednesday night in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) South Division game.

Gallaudet (11-13, 8-7 NEAC) is now in position to move up to second place in the NEAC South Division with a win in Saturday's regular-season finale. The Bison are confirmed to make next Tuesday's NEAC tournament, the question now is where will GU end up in the final standings.

Wilson (10-14, 5-10 NEAC) used a 25-16 fourth quarter to tie the game at 69 and send it to the extra period where the teams played for five more minutes.

GU led 37-28 at the half as the two teams each scored 16 points in the third quarter.

Junior guard/forward Hannah Neild (Litchfield, N.H.) scored a game-high 28 points as she made three three-pointers and went 9-for-10 at the free throw line. Neild grabbed nine rebounds, blocked three shots, made three steals and passed out two assists.

Fellow junior Sabina Shysh (Tucson, Ariz.) and senior forward Kelsey Hudson (Blissfield, Mich.) scored 12 points each while Hudson completed the double-double with 19 rebounds.

Freshman guard Emelia Beldon (Frederick, Md.) scored eight points, made 10 assists and four rebounds.

Wilson was led by Jasmine Wallace's 18 points and five rebounds.
