Box Score FREDERICK, Md. – The Gallaudet University women's volleyball team wasted little time dispatching non-conference foe Hood College on Thursday evening as the visiting Bison won 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-19) before 511 at BB&T Arena. Gallaudet (10-10) increased its winning percentage on the season to .500 with its 10th win.
Senior middle hitter Julia Wolff (Belleville, Ontario) led the team with 11 kills while senior outside hitter Kali Frowick (Norfolk, Neb.) threw down eight kills and six digs while junior Danielle Morris (St. Louis, Mich.) had seven kills and a team best 14 digs. Freshman Darriyan Thomas (Vallejo, Calif.) served up three service aces to go with 12 digs while junior setter TraciAnn Hoglind (Fishers, Ind.) passed out 37 assists. Hood drops to 6-12 on the season.
The Bison continue their road trip with a visit to Pennsylvania the next two days for a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) crossover weekend hosted by Penn St.-Abington. GU, who is 4-0 in the conference, will play two matches on Friday and two more on Saturday.
