KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – Gallaudet University's women's volleyball team knew it would be tested on the road Sunday against Keuka College on the second day of the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Crossover Weekend in Weed Gymnasium. GU, the three-time defending NEAC champions, was pushed to the brink and committed too many errors as Keuka won in four sets, 23-25, 25-20, 19-25, 24-26.

Keuka (8-4, 2-0 NEAC) jumps to the top of the NEAC standings while Gallaudet (8-4, 2-1 NEAC) suffered its first conference loss in two years. The Bison last dropped a NEAC match on Oct. 2, 2011, when they lost 3-1 at Penn St.-Berks. Gallaudet has compiled a 35-3 record against NEAC foes in four seasons, including conference tournament results.

The Bison service game hurt the team as they committed season-high marks for service errors (12) and receiving errors (13). Gallaudet's attack unit registered the second most attack errors (19) in a match this season.

Junior outside hitter Kali Frowick (Norfolk, Neb.) and senior opposite hitter Lane Peters (Phoenix, Ariz.) both recorded season-highs in kills with 19 and 16, respectively. Frowick registered a double-double with 22 digs to go with two service aces. Sophomore libero Kate Fetzer (Noblesville, Ind.) led the team with 26 digs, a new season-high total this year.

Keuka's Paige Golden led the Storm with 15 kills and 26 digs in the win.

The Bison will look to bounce back on Thursday, Sept. 26, with a non-conference night match against Johns Hopkins University at 7 p.m. in the Field House.
