Box Score One of the best basketball seasons in years for Gallaudet ended
today in York, Pennsylvania with Gallaudet falling to York
77-62. Gallaudet finishes the season 11-14.
The game was the final one for Gallaudet's five seniors: Sekoe White, Jon Mowl, Chi Pun, Anthony Baskin, and
Justin
Grigsby, all of whom started today.
White left everything on the court in his final game, getting a
double-double with 27 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists. Mowl
finished with 11 points and 6 steals. Johnny Jackson, Jr.
came off the bench to score 13 points and make 5 steals.
One area that hurt the Bison today was free throw shooting.
Gallaudet was 10-21 from the charity stripe.
Gallaudet Head Coach Jeb
Barber will focus on building on the success of this season and
carrying over to next season. Coach Barber said, "I'm proud of the
guys. They played the way the coaching staff has come to
expect of them."
Coach Barber also reflected on his five seniors. "We wish
the 5 seniors the best of luck in their lives after college
basketball. And I thank them for their hard work in the
classroom and the gym." As for next season, Coach Barber
said, "I hope that the returning players work hard in the
off-season so we can continue to build on our successful season."
