Gallaudet's volleyball team defeated Hood College tonight 25-14, 25-10, 25-4 to go to 9-13 on the season. The win helped Gallaudet prepare for this weekend's tournament at McDaniel College.

Gallaudet Head Coach Lynn Ray Boren made several line-up changes to help produce combinations that would be sucessful and it paid off tonight. According to Coach Boren, "It was nice to see how well the different combinations played together. We need to maintain the level of energy we had tonight for this weekend's McDaniel Tournament."

Gallaudet's first game at the McDaniel Tournament will be at 8 pm Friday, October 10.
