York, PA (12/6/06) The Lady Bison started out on an even pace against the York College Lady Spartans behind tempered performances by Pia Marie Paulone and Shabnam Razmpour.  Both players finished the night leading the team with 12 points.  Over the first half, fans in the Grumbacher Center saw flip-flop scoring until the Lady Spartans pushed ahead after a slim 10-9 lead to finish the half 56-30 after an 18-3 run as well as a stretch where the Bison were outscored in the ensuing 15 of 18 points.
The second half caught the Spartans by surprise as they managed to top the Bison by a point, with Paulone finishing 2-for-3 from downtown.  Senior Jessica Salisbury was 2-for-2 from the line with two steals.  Salisbury led the team with five boards.  Kallie Williams shot 3-for-4 at the line and led the teams in steals with three. The shootout ended at 84-57, Spartans. A costly first half was what did the Bison in; look for the overall game performance to pick up with harder and focused practices from Coach Kylan Loney. 

The Lady Bison host Salisbury University in conjunction with the 11th Annual Alumni Basketball Madness.  The ball goes up at 2:00 p.m.
