Senior Season (2013): Received All-NEAC first team honors…named ECAC Division III South Player of the Week (Oct. 24)…named NEAC Women's Volleyball Student-Athlete of the Week (Oct. 24)…named to Buttermaker all-tournament team…named to Battlefield Classic all-tournament team…started in all 37 matches and saw action in 134 sets…finished second on the team in kills (427), averaging 3.19 per game, points (512.5) and service aces (45)…recorded a season high 18 kills on three separate occasions against Marymount (Va.) (Sep. 28), St. Mary’s (Md.) (Oct. 1) and Neumann (Oct. 12)…recorded season high of 5 service aces on four separate occasions against Cazenovia (Sep. 21), Penn St.-Berks (Oct. 5), Wells (Oct. 19) and Scranton (Nov. 2)…third on the team in digs (300) and blocks (73) with eight solo and 65 assists…recorded nine double-doubles during the season…played a significant role in the team’s fourth straight NEAC championship and NCAA tournament appearance.

Junior Season (2012): Peters played in 131 sets and saw action in 38 matches, started 35…she was fourth on the team in kills (216) and points (254)…she was awarded the NEAC Tournament MVP…named NEAC Scholar Athlete honoree…Peters is the first hearing student to play for the Gallaudet women’s volleyball team…played a significant role in the team’s NEAC Championship and NCAA tournament appearance

Before Gallaudet: Graduate of Thunderbird High School (Phoenix, Ariz.)…played two years of volleyball for Phoenix College where she received two Scholar Athlete awards in 2011.

Personal: Daughter of Maradell and Perry Peters…has one older sibling, Sheriess…loves ice cream…enjoys watching Modern Family and The Notebook.

Why Gallaudet? “I want to become an interpreter and play more volleyball.”
