Stern enters his third season as an assistant coach with theGallaudet University men's basketball program. Stern played fouryears at Gallaudet where he started three seasons and was athree-time captain. Stern helped to lead the Bison to a 14-12record and 7-7 showing in the Capital Athletic Conference duringthe 2005-06 season, his final year with the Buff and Blue. Sterngraduated from GU in 2006. He is currently teaching government atGallaudet as a President's fellow. Stern is working on his Ph.D. inAmerican Politics at Catholic University of America.
