Fitzgerald is in his second season as an assistant coach withthe Gallaudet University men's basketball program. He holds aBachelor of Science Degree from the University of Mary Washington('07), where he was a four-year letterman and three-yearstarter on the men's basketball team.

Fitzgerald was selected to the Ville Julie HolidayAll-Tournament team in 2005, as well as the Washington & LeeTip-Off All-Tournament team in 2006.

A native of Alexandria, Va., Fitzgerald is the son of Alvin andFlorence and the older brother to Adam.
