Coach Miller is in his 18th season and second stint as a Gallaudet assistant coach (1993-97, 2008-present). He currently handles the wide receivers position.

Prior to joining the Gallaudet staff in 2008, Miller served as the head football coach for the Model Secondary School for the Deaf (MSSD) from 1998-99 and from 2005-07. In 1998, he led MSSD to a national deaf championship and was named National Deaf Football Coach of the Year.

Miller received his bachelor’s degree in statistics from Temple University in 1988. The Philadelphia native is currently a statistician for the United States Census Bureau in Suitland, Md., where he has worked since 1988.

On coaching at Gallaudet, Miller said, “I have enjoyed my experience at Gallaudet over the past 19 years. It has been an honor to be a small part of the improvement Gallaudet athletics has made over the past two decades.”

He and his wife, June, have two sons Bobby and Derek and reside in Centerville, Md.
