Before Gallaudet: Attended Russia Local School...played baseball, golf and basketball in high school.

Personal: Son of Dan and Karen Bensman…has two older sisters, Sarah and Amy...roots for the Cincinnati Reds...favorite athlete is Craig Stammen...likes to watch MADtv...likes to eat tacos.

Why Gallaudet? “I've been in the hearing culture all my life, and decided that I wanted to be a part of the deaf culture. I was also recommended here by a lot of deaf people, because they all said that they knew that I would be successful here.”
