Gallaudet cheerleading to perform at H Street Festival on Saturday

WASHINGTON – The Gallaudet University cheerleading team will make its first appearance at the H Street Festival this Saturday, Sept. 19, with a performance scheduled for 3:30 p.m.

The Bison, under the direction of head coach Tara Miles, will perform on the stage located at the corner of 13th and H streets NE in Washington, D.C. The stage is hosted by the D.C. Mayor's Office of Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing.

The H Street Festival is an annual community event featuring live performances, music, art, food and other activities along the H Street NE corridor.

Fans, members of the Gallaudet community and festival attendees are encouraged to stop by and support the Bison during their 3:30 p.m. performance.
