WASHINGTON - The Gallaudet University fall cheerleading squad will hold tryouts on Monday, Aug. 31, through Wednesday, Sept. 2, at Hotchkiss Field and the Thomas O. Berg Track. The tryouts will run from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Gallaudet cheerleading is looking for high-energy, charismatic individuals who are ready to bring the spirit and showcase outstanding school spirit at home Bison athletic events. Plus, cheerleaders will have opportunities to participate in community service on campus and throughout the local community.
The cheerleading program is also looking for a team drummer who loves creating rhythms and bringing high energy to game day.
