WASHINGTON – Gallaudet University women's volleyball head coach
Lynn Ray Boren, now in his 21st season, officially announced the 2026 schedule for the Bison. The GU slate includes 10 home matches, 12 road matches, 10 United East Conference matches, and four neutral site contests.
The season will open at the Elmira College Quad Match in Elmira, N.Y., on Sept. 4-5, with matches against New England College (N.H.), Geneva (Pa.) College, and host Elmira. GU will then travel to Frederick, Md., for a midweek road contest at Hood College on Sept. 9. The buff and blue will continue its road stretch in Sweet Briar, Va., for a tri-match against Saint Elizabeth University and host Sweet Briar College on Sept. 12. Gallaudet will make a short trip to Towson, Md., just outside of Baltimore, to take on Goucher College on Sept. 17. The Bison's home debut is scheduled for Sept. 21 against Penn State Abington, which also marks the start of United East Conference play. GU will make a short trip to face The Catholic University of America on Sept. 23 before hosting three teams at the annual Worthington Classic on Sept. 25-26. The Bison will face Arcadia University, the University of Mount Union and Eastern University before wrapping up the month of September by hosting Marymount (Va.) University on Sept. 30.
The buff and blue will travel to Williamsport, Pa., to open the month of October against Lycoming College on Oct. 2. Gallaudet will remain in Williamsport to compete in a tri-match at Penn College of Technology on Oct. 3, where the Bison will face the host Wildcats in United East Conference play and Lebanon Valley College in non-conference action. GU will continue its road trip with a United East Conference match at Penn State Harrisburg on Oct. 7 before returning home to host a tri-match with Keystone College, a conference team, and Regis (Mass.) College on Oct. 10. The Bison will then travel to Allentown, Pa., for a midweek conference match at Cedar Crest College on Oct 14. Gallaudet will celebrate its senior class and Homecoming on Oct. 16 when it hosts Wilson College in a conference match. GU will remain at home to host Penn State Berks in United East Conference play on Oct. 20 before making a short trip to Trinity Washington University for a non-conference match on Oct. 22. The buff and blue will then travel to Media, Pa., to take on conference foe Penn State Brandywine on Oct. 24 before returning to the nation's capital to host Lancaster Bible College in its final regular-season home match on Oct. 28 against the UEC opponent. Gallaudet will wrap up the regular season and conference schedule on Oct. 31 with a road contest at Notre Dame of Maryland University.
The United East Conference Women's Volleyball Championship is scheduled to begin on Nov. 3 and run through Nov. 14.
All home matches will be played in the Field House on Padden Court.
