WASHINGTON – Gallaudet University triathlon coach
Brian Bennett, '12, has announced the program's 2026 schedule as the Bison prepare for their third season of competition. Gallaudet will compete in five regular-season meets, followed by an East Regional qualifier and the Women's Collegiate Triathlon National Championships if individuals qualify.
Gallaudet will open the 2026 season by hosting the Bison Super Sprint Triathlon on Sunday, Sept. 6, on the Gallaudet campus against Eastern Mennonite University. The meet will mark the first home competition in program history.
The Bison will then travel to Williamsburg, Va., to compete in the Patriots Triathlon Festival at the Jamestown Settlement on Sunday, Sept. 13. Gallaudet will remain in Virginia the following weekend to race in the Robious Landing Triathlon at Robious Landing Park in Midlothian, Va., on Sunday, Sept. 20. The buff and blue will wrap up the month of September by traveling to Colorado to compete in the Desert's Edge Triathlon at Highline Lake State Park in Loma, Colo., on Sunday, Sept. 27.
Gallaudet will make a short trip to Annapolis, Md., to compete in the Navy Collegiate Cup, hosted by the U.S. Naval Academy, on Sunday, Oct. 4.
GU will rest for two weeks to prepare for the East Regional Championship being held at Lanier Islands in Buford, Ga., on Saturday, Oct. 17.
The Women's Collegiate National Championships will be on Sunday, Nov. 8, in Tempe, Ariz., for the triathletes who qualify.
