WASHINGTON - Gallaudet University men's cross country head coach
Byron Moore, who is entering his 12th season with the program, has announced the team's 2026 schedule. The Bison will compete in five regular-season meets before concluding the campaign at the United East Conference Championship on Oct. 31.
Gallaudet will open the 2026 season by traveling to Lebanon, Pa., to compete in the Dutchmen Invitational, hosted by Lebanon Valley College, on Sept. 5. The meet will also give the Bison an early look at the course that will host the 2026 United East Conference Championships at the end of October. The Bison will travel to Shenandoah University on Sept. 11 to compete in the SU Twilight Open. Gallaudet will wrap up the month of September by competing in the South Region Preview, hosted by the University of Lynchburg Invitational on Sept. 19 at Earlysville, Va., which is the same course as the NCAA South Regional.
After a week off, Gallaudet will begin the month of October by traveling across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge to Salisbury, Md., to compete in the Don Cathcart Invitational, hosted by Salisbury University, on Oct. 3. GU will have another week off before competing in its final regular-season meet at the Roanoke XC Invitational 2026 South Region Showdown, hosted by Roanoke College, in Salem, Va., on Oct. 17.
The buff and blue will have two weeks to prepare for the United East Conference Championship, which will take place on Saturday, Oct. 31, in Lebanon, Pa. The championship meet will be hosted by Penn State Berks.
If Gallaudet qualifies any runners for the NCAA South Regional it will be on Saturday Nov. 14, in Earlysville, Va., hosted by University of Lynchburg.
