Gallaudet rolls past LBC, posts third shutout of season

LANCASTER, Pa. – Gallaudet University's women's flag football team continued its dominant 2026 campaign here Wednesday with a 41-0 shutout of Lancaster Bible College in a non-conference contest.

The Bison (7-0) recorded their third shutout of the season and completed a two-game season sweep of the Chargers, outscoring the Lancaster Bible club team 95-0. Earlier this season, Gallaudet posted a 54-0 win on March 4 at Hotchkiss Field.

Gallaudet controlled the game from start to finish and showcased its depth by utilizing both quarterbacks in the victory.

Sophomore quarterback Gianna Visco (Riverside, Calif.) completed 6 of 10 passes for 59 yards and two touchdowns and added 29 rushing yards. First-year quarterback Shaelyn Johnson (Redlands, Calif.) was efficient in extended action as she went 14-for-22 for 134 yards and two scores.

The Bison offense spread the ball around effectively as several receivers made key contributions. First year Alona Zfati (Frederick, Md.) led all receivers with six catches for 76 yards. First year Tiana Starayev (Noblesville, Ind.) hauled in seven receptions for 67 yards and a touchdown and added a one-yard rushing score. Sophomore Jada Zarembka (Riverside, Calif.) found the end zone three times on five catches for 29 yards.

On the ground, first year Tamara Tadevosyan (Austin, Texas) rushed four times for 33 yards and a touchdown to help balance the Bison attack.

Defensively, Gallaudet was once again dominant as it held Lancaster Bible scoreless and forced multiple turnovers. First year Jasmine Jimenez Lara (Gilroy, Calif.) recorded a career-best 3.5 sacks for a loss of 17 yards and finished with four tackles. Tadevosyan continued her strong all-around performance with four tackles, a career-high two interceptions for 35 return yards, and one pass breakup.

Sophomore Citrine Lummer (Frederick, Md.) added the Bison's third interception as the defense preserved the shutout.
