WASHINGTON – Gallaudet University women's flag football head coach Emelia Beldon has announced the program's 2026 schedule as the Bison embark on their first season at the varsity level this spring.
Gallaudet, which self-proclaimed itself the 2025 Club National Champions for Women's Flag Football after a perfect 7-0 inaugural campaign, elevated the program to varsity status for Spring 2026. The buff and blue captured the 2025 United East Tournament title by a combined score of 64-6, including a 38-0 shutout of Cairn University in the championship game.
The 2026 slate features 12 regular-season contests before the United East championship on April 25. GU will host six games at Hotchkiss Field in Washington, D.C.
Gallaudet opens the season at home on Wednesday, March 4, at 6 p.m., against Lancaster Bible College.
The Bison will then travel to Langhorne, Pa., for a pair of games on Saturday, March 21, facing Keystone College in a neutral-site match-up before taking on Cairn later that afternoon.
GU returns home on Wednesday, March 25, for a 7 p.m. contest against Howard Community College at Hotchkiss Field.
Conference play continues on Saturday, March 28, with a home doubleheader as Gallaudet welcomes Penn State Harrisburg (11 a.m.) and Cairn (2 p.m.) to the nation's capital.
The Bison hit the road on April 1 for a return match-up at Lancaster Bible before traveling to Ferrum, Va., to face Ferrum College on April 3.
Gallaudet will compete in a pair of games in Allentown, Pa., on Saturday, April 11, meeting Penn State Harrisburg in a neutral-site contest before squaring off against Cedar Crest College later that afternoon.
The regular-season home finale is slated for Saturday, April 18, as the Bison host Cedar Crest (11 a.m.) and Keystone (2 p.m.) at Hotchkiss Field.
The 2026 United East Championships are scheduled for April 25 at a site to be determined.
All home games will be played at Hotchkiss Field.
