Gallaudet (2-16, 1-9 United East) made its first basket and held a quick 3-0 lead before Cairn (17-6, 9-2 United East) drained six 3-pointers in just over five minutes to jump out to a 24-7 lead over the Bison. The Highlanders ended the first half with 10 3-pointers and a 23-point halftime lead, 53-30.
