Gallaudet's season ends in the first round of the United East tournament at Lancaster Bible

LANCASTER, Pa. – The Gallaudet University women's basketball team wrapped up its 2025-26 season Wednesday night with a hard-fought 68-63 loss to Lancaster Bible College in the first round of the United East tournament at the Horst Athletic Center.

Gallaudet, the No. 10 seed, and Lancaster Bible, the No. 7 seed, played a tightly contested first quarter that featured four lead changes and three ties. The Chargers took the 23-19 lead into the second quarter with the help of four 3-pointers.

Gallaudet (6-17) struggled, as it committed three turnovers and made just one field goal in the first four minutes, to fall behind by five.

GU and LBC remained locked in a tight battle through the first 6:51 of the fourth quarter, with the Bison holding their final lead at 53-51.

The Chargers scored eight straight points, fueled by back-to-back 3-pointers from Shana Stolzfus. The run gave the Chargers control of the game as they held on to secure the five-point victory and dethrone the defending conference champions.

Greene finished with a game-high 23 points, nine rebounds and was a perfect 3-for-3 at the free throw line. Debrow finished the night with her seventh double-double of the season with 14 points and 15 rebounds, plus she added four blocks and two steals.
