Motion Z to hold tryouts Oct. 7-8

WASHINGTON – Gallaudet University's Motion Z majorette dance team will hold tryouts for interested students on Wednesday, Oct. 7, and Thursday, Oct. 8, from 7:30-8:30 p.m. in the Dance Studio.

All Gallaudet students interested in joining Motion Z are encouraged to attend. No advance registration is required and students do not need to bring or wear anything specific for the tryouts. Come as you are and bring a positive spirit!

Motion Z is Gallaudet's majorette dance team and performs at home Bison basketball games. Majorette dance combines high-energy choreography with elements of jazz, hip-hop and traditional majorette-style movement to create an entertaining and spirited performance.

Students may simply show up for tryouts and do not need to register in advance.

For questions about Motion Z or the tryout process, please contact head coach Chelsea Sampson at motionz.majorette@gallaudet.edu.
