VERMILLION, S.D. - The Gallaudet University women's triathlon team was picked No. 7 in the College Triathlon Coaches Association (CTCA) preseason coaches poll for Division III programs.
Gallaudet in its first season, finished eighth overall among Division III teams at the 2024 Women's Collegiate National Championships at Lake Louisa State Park.
Defending national champion North Central (Ill.) College was voted No. 1 by the CTCA. The next three spots (No. 2-4) consisted of Trine University, Central College and Willamette University in the same order as they finished at the 2024 national championships.Â
The 2025 Women's Collegiate National Championships will be held in Tempe, Ariz., on Saturday, Nov. 8.
The Bison will begin the 2025 season on Sunday, Sept. 7, at the Patriots Triathlon Festival hosted by Kinetic Multisports in Williamsburg, Va., at the Jamestown Settlement.
