WASHINGTON - College Sports Communicators Membership Appreciation Week, presented by ESPN, is an opportunity for those who interact with college sports communications and creative professionals to observe and celebrate the impact that athletics communicators have on intercollegiate athletics. The week-long recognition runs from November 4-9, 2025.
Â
The week was created to show appreciation for athletic communicators and creatives within the CSC membership and to showcase their efforts and accomplishments. The celebration brings positive recognition to CSC members and their work promoting student-athletes and their institutions/conferences throughout all levels of intercollegiate athletics.
Â
Gallaudet University Athletics is proud to participate in the College Sports Communicators Membership Appreciation Week and recognizes its Athletic Communication staff for promoting Bison news, teams and student-athletes.

Â
"Everything we do to promote Gallaudet athletics and share the stories of our amazing student-athletes and coaches is really a team effort. None of it would be possible without our staff and student workers. They put in so much time — late nights, weekends, and everything in between — to help tell the story of Bison athletics. I'm really proud of the work we do together and grateful for the dedication everyone brings to it," said Atkinson, who is a Past President of College Sports Communicators, formerly known as CoSIDA, as he served on the Executive Board from 2015-22 and served as President of the organization from 2020-21.
