LEXINGTON, Ky. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) released its 44th annual All-America teams for NCAA Division III women's volleyball and for the 11th time in program history a Gallaudet University student-athlete was recognized. Junior outside hitter Brielle Worley (Amarillo, Texas) was one of 99 named to the 2025 AVCA All-America honorable mention list.
The AVCA named 14 players from across the nation to each of its three teams (First, Second, Third) as well as recognizing the other All-Region first team selections on its honorable mention list.
The Amarillo, Texas, native helped Gallaudet to a 24-6 record and a perfect 10-0 mark in United East conference play and a regular-season title. The Bison did not participate in the United East tournament this year due to the scheduling conflict with the 2025 Deaflympics.
Worley, the two-time United East Player of the Year, makes her second appearance on the AVCA All-America Team as a honorable mention selection. The two-time AVCA All-Region first team and United East all-conference first team honoree is one of the top outside hitters in Division III. Worley ranks in the Top 5 in Division III for total kills (509), kills per set (4.85), points (580.5) and points per set (5.53).
Worley is the 10th Bison to earn AVCA All-America Honorable Mention honors while Tamara Foronda is the lone Bison to be selected to an AVCA All-America team when she landed on the third team in 2006. Worley and Valerie Trofimenkoff (2003, '05) are the only Gallaudet Bison to earn multiple AVCA All-America honorable mention honors.
The AVCA has been presenting Division III All-America teams since 1981.
