ARLINGTON, Va. - The Gallaudet University men's soccer team was shut out by Marymount (Va.) University (6-3-3) Monday night under the lights at Long Bridge Park.
Gallaudet (1-7) kept Marymount (6-3-3) off the scoreboard for the first 11 minutes of the game before the Saints found the back of the net. The Saints scored four goals in the first half with two coming off the foot of Leonardo Torres.Â

After taking halftime to regroup, both teams entered the second half with high energy and hard kicks. Marymount picked up where it left off and scored a fifth goal just seven minutes into the second half against new Bison goalie
Luke McBrine (Weymouth, Mass.). Marymount first year Broxmyn Chang-Stroman earned a penalty kick and converted the chance. The Saints found the back of the net for a sixth time in the 62nd minute before GU went on the offensive.Â

Joe Bryan (Liberty, Mo.) launched a shot to the top right corner of the goal Saints goalie Liam Sloan sprung into action to make the save. That was the only shot on goal for the Bison, who were outshot 26-2.
The Saints tacked on three additional goals in the 79th, 83rd and 84th minutes.

GU will take on University of Valley Forge (2-9) this Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 5 p.m., on the turf at Hotchkiss Field. This will be the first conference game for the Bison this season.Â
