WASHINGTON - The Gallaudet University esports Rocket League team participated in the Easterseals (ESGaming) x Oxygen esports (a professional gaming org) collegiate Rocket League tournament back on Thursday, Feb 1.
GU went up against the No. 1 seed Northwood in the first round and dropped the first two matches (3-1, 5-4 OT) but won the next two games (4-3 OT, 4-2) after one of their players disconnected giving Gallaudet a three to two player advantage. For the final match they managed to get a substitute in and Northwood won, 4-1.
