CLERMONT, Fla. – The 2024 Women's Collegiate National Championships got underway here Friday with the swim time trial at the Clermont Watersports Complex.

Mara Land (Dell Rapids, S.D.) was the first Bison to emerge from the water first with a time of 13 minutes and 18 seconds.

Talia Boren (Fair Oaks, Calif.) and first year
Kathe Wilken-Yoder (Oviedo, Fla.) finished one second apart, 16:19 and 16:20, respectively.

Alecia Miller (Litchfield, Ill.) was the fourth and final Bison with a time of 18:52.
This is the first year of women's triathlon at Gallaudet University.
There are three different NCAA divisions competing at the national championships.
