WESTMINSTER, Md. – Gallaudet University's service game was on point here Saturday as the Bison rolled to two easy 3-0 wins over Wilson College and McDaniel College.
Gallaudet (11-2) has won eight matches in a row, seven straight sweeps and have won its last 22 sets.
The Bison made quick work of winless Wilson (0-8) with a 25-13, 25-14, 25-20 win. GU served up 19 service aces led by sophomore
Enza Visco (Riverside, Calif.) with five.
In the second match of the day, McDaniel (7-3) hung around the first two sets as GU won by the same 25-21 set score. In the third and final set, Gallaudet won going away with a 25-9 win. The Bison tallied 13 aces against the Green Terror. Junior setter
Ella Gamble (Cullowhee, N.C.) passed out 34 assists while junior
Cassidy Perry (Frederick, Md.) finished with 13 kills while sophomore
Citrine Lummer (Frederick, Md.) tallied 12 kills.
