BALTIMORE - The Gallaudet University women's soccer team dropped its 2023 season opener, 9-0, here Friday afternoon to Notre Dame of Maryland University at Alumnae Field.

Gallaudet (0-1) allowed an early goal but kept the deficit to one for nearly 24 minutes before the Gators scored twice before the half where the Bison trailed 3-0. GU tallied three of its four shots in the first half as junior Ashley Harlicker (Shenadoah, Texas) took all three shots.

In net, junior goalie Lilian Nelson (Minneapolis, Minn.) made a season-high 17 saves with nine stops in the second half.
