FORT PIERCE, Fla. – The Gallaudet University baseball team concluded its Spring Break Trip here Tuesday evening with a 15-3 loss to Lasell University at the Lawnwood Baseball Complex.
Gallaudet (6-12) scored a run in the second inning and two runs in the eighth against the Lasers.
Lasell (4-0) broke open the 1-0 game with 14 runs in the bottom of the second inning. The Lasers batted around twice (18 batters), tallied seven hits, four walks and one hit by pitch and took advantage of three Bison errors in the second.

Salvador Diaz (Norwalk, Calif.) hit a two-run double in the eighth inning to plate seniors
Darren Drolsbaugh (Lansdale, Pa.) and
Austin Sliva-Wynne (Rosenberg, Texas). Diaz led the Bison with two hits (two doubles).

Shea Sliva-Wynne (Rosenberg, Texas) started on the mound and took the loss for the Bison as GU used a combination of six pitchers in the game.
UP NEXT
GU returns home and will begin United East Conference play on Saturday, March 18, against Penn St.-Berks (1-6) at 3 p.m.
