WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Hits were hard to come by here Friday afternoon as Gallaudet University got no-hit by Penn College of Technology twice as the Wildcats swept the United East Conference doubleheader with scores of 9-0 and 14-0 in five innings.

Game 1: Penn College 9, Gallaudet 0 (F/5)
Penn College starting pitcher Kyla Benner (9-3) pitched her second career perfect game as she struck out 10 of 15 Bison batters in the 9-0 five-inning game. 

The Wildcats scored two times in the first, five in the third and two more in the fourth. Penn College finished the game with 10 hits that included two extra-base hits (two doubles).

Sophomore Emma Giuntoli (Austin, Texas) took the loss in the circle as she logged four innings and struck out two.

Game 2: Penn College 14, Gallaudet 0 (F/5)
In the second game, Penn College starting pitcher Mackenzie Weaver (8-2) threw a five-inning no-hitter against the Bison as she walked one and struck out seven. 

Gallaudet (3-23, 3-13 United East) drew a walk in the top of the second inning as freshman Elaine Swecker (San Diego, Calif.) was patient at the plate against Weaver and was the only baserunner for the Bison in the contest.

Penn College (17-6, 13-1 United East), the first-place team in the United East, scored two or more runs in all four innings it came to the plate. The Wildcats started the game with four runs in the first, two in the second and third and capped things off with six in the fourth. Penn College finished the game with 12 hits with only one extra-base hit (double). 

Giuntoli (0-8) took the loss as she threw four innings and struck out one.
