Box Score WASHINGTON - The Gallaudet University men's basketball team ended the 2021-22 season on a high note as the Bison celebrated an 86-64 victory over Penn St.-Berks in a United East conference game here Friday evening in the Field House.
Gallaudet (3-21, 3-13 United East) led from start to finish over the winless Nittany Lions (0-21, 0-15 United East) as the Bison enjoyed their biggest win of the season with the 22-point victory.
Before the start of the game, the Bison men's basketball program recognized its seniors on Senior Night. Senior guards Wilford Troup (Snellville, Ga.) and Shawn Daniels (Lakeland, Fla.) were honored by their coaches and teammates as family, friends and Bison Nation looked on. Daniels finished the game with eight points, five rebounds, three steals, one block and one assist in 25 minutes played. Troup tallied five points and made one assist and steal in 18 minutes played. The senior duo started the game as well.
Freshman forward Brandon Chung (Kahului, Hawaii) led the Bison with 20 points, four rebounds and three steals. Junior guard Corey Smith (Miami, Fla.) added 17 points, eight rebounds, a game-high five steals and one assist. Sophomore forward Lance Wood poured in 11 points and ripped down four rebounds off the bench. Sophomore guard Rory Lewis (Frederick, Md.) and freshman guard Malosi Viena (Waipahu, Hawaii) contributed 10 points each in the win.
Penn St.-Berks was paced by forward Hassan Koroma, who finished with 16 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block.

- Freshman guard Shannon Cotto (Lakewood, Ohio) added seven rebounds, six assists and a game-high five steals.
