WASHINGTON - It was nice to be home for the Gallaudet University men's swimming team here Saturday as the Bison swam against Randolph College in a non-conference meet. The Bison fell short to the WildCats, 153-59, before a spirited crowd.
Randolph (3-2) swept all 14 events as the WildCats were led by Josh Roberts, who won three events including the 50-yard backstroke (28.92), 200-yard backstroke (2:12.87) and 1,000-yard freestyle (11:47.36).
Gallaudet's 200-yard medley relay team of freshman Sethan Rolofson (Gardner, Kan.), sophomore Jules Yance (Danville, Ky.), senior Nick Hohrman (Fergus Falls, Minn.) and freshman David Sanchez (Los Angeles, Calif.) started the meet with a second-place showing with a time of 2:14.44.
Hohrman placed second in the 1,000-yard freestyle (13:47.11) and third in the 100-yard IM (1:10.33). Sanchez finished second in the 200-yard freestyle (2:34.68) and 500-yard freestyle (7:29.00). Freshman Keegan Wheeler (Brewerton, N.Y.) took second in the 50-yard freestyle (32.37)

- Rolofson placed third in the 200-yard freestyle (2:40.47) and 500-yard freestyle (7:39.74)
- Freshman Anthony Ricks (Pembroke Pines, Fla.) finished third in the 50-yard backstroke (42.21), 100-yard freestyle (1:18.77)
- Freshman Aiden Magana (Kyle, Texas) took third in the 50-yard breaststroke (39.84)
- Sophomore Bryant Gonzalez (Chicago, Ill.) placed third in the 50-yard butterfly (30.53) and 200-yard butterfly (2:54.16)
- Yance finished third in the 200-yard breaststroke (3:17.77)
- Gallaudet's 200-yard freestyle relay A team took second with a time of 1:55.54 and B team finished third (2:05.80)

Gallaudet will begin Atlantic East Conference competition next week when it travels to St. Mary's College of Maryland to face the host Seahawks on Saturday, Nov. 12, at 1 p.m.
