OWINGS MILLS, Md. - The Gallaudet University men's swimming team lost a double-dual meet here Saturday as Stevenson University defeated the Bison, 156-20, and FDU-Florham won 105-41 over the Bison. Stevenson (7-4) defeated FDU-Florham (2-4) 126-61 to complete the meet as the Mustangs won eight of the 11 events.
Gallaudet (0-5) finished third in the 400-yard freestyle relay as the quartet of freshmen David Sanchez (Los Angeles, Calif.), Trent Mora (Austin, Texas), Anthony Ricks (Pembroke Pines, Fla.) and senior Nick Hohrman (Fergus Falls, Minn.) posted a time of 4:29.88.
GU's 400-yard medley relay team lost out on a chance to earn some team points as its team was disqualified to begin the meet.
Hohrman finished fourth overall in the 100-yard freestyle (1:00.65) and placed fifth in the 200-yard freestyle (2:15.68).
Sanchez took fourth in the 200-yard backstroke (3:12.68) while Mora was fifth in the 50-yard freestyle (27.17).
Freshman Keegan Wheeler (Brewerton, N.Y.) finished sixth in the 500-yard freestyle (7:52.64).
Sophomore Jules Yance (Danville, Ky.) finished sixth in the 200-yard breaststroke (3:09.89) and seventh in the 50-yard freestyle (33.14).

Gallaudet is off next week for Fall Break and will next swim at Wilkes University (0-8) on Saturday, Dec. 3, at 1 p.m.
