Box Score WASHINGTON - The Gallaudet University men's basketball team dropped a 66-58 contest to Penn St. Abington in United East conference action here Saturday.
Gallaudet (2-15, 2-8 United East) held a 28-26 lead at the half before the Nittany Lions (9-9, 3-6 United East) rallied in the second half.
Sophomore forward Lance Wood (Fishers, Ind.) and freshman guard Malosi Viena (Waipahu, Hawaii.) led the Bison with 18 points each. Viena grabbed a team-high nine rebounds. Sophomore guard Rory Lewis (Frederick, Md.) had an off night with five points while freshman forward Brandon Chung (Kahului, Hawaii) led the team with four steals. Freshman guard Enow Otto Jr. (Waldorf, Md.) netted six points and rebounds off the bench.
The Nittany Lions was led by junior guard Brian Randolph III, who scored a game-high 24 points and completed the double-double with 15 rebounds, four steals and one assist. Senior guard Alex Salata added 15 points and two rebounds off the bench.
