GU only made 4 of 26 shots (15.4 percent) from the field while Goucher shot 44.4 percent (12-for-27) as the teams combined for 45 points, 30-15, and headed to the locker rooms.

In the second half, Gallaudet shook off the slow start and came alive along with the crowd of 334 Bison supporters. GU started to make shots and slowly chipped away at the Goucher lead and got as close as one, 45-44, with 3:44 left in regulation and 48-47, at the 1:51 mark.
