Box Score WASHINGTON - The Gallaudet University men's soccer team was shutout, 4-0, by Wisconsin Lutheran College here Sunday afternoon at Hotchkiss Field in a non-conference game.
Gallaudet freshman goalie Noah Means-Simonsen (Louisville, Ky.) recorded a career-high 13 saves as the visiting Warriors (3-1-2) kept constant pressure on the Bison goal throughout the game. Wisconsin Lutheran outshot Gallaudet 29-5 and placed 17 shots on goal.
Wisconsin Lutheran got on the scoreboard just three minutes in when Nick Zupinski snuck a shot past Means-Simonsen in the lower right corner of the goal. The Warriors added a second goal in the 31st minute as they took a 2-0 lead into halftime over the Bison (1-2-1).
Gallaudet's defense surrendered its second goal of the season in the 58th minute when a Warrior cross deflected off a Bison defender. Jimmy Pierson scored his second goal of the season off an assist from Connor Schodorf in the 85th minute.
Wisconsin Lutheran goalie Erek Lehnen (four saves) recorded the shutout.
