NEW YORK – The Gallaudet University men's volleyball team dropped all four matches this past weekend in New York in straight sets. The Bison (0-10) lost to City College of New York 12-25, 6-25, 22-25 on Sunday. The day before the Bison played three matches at New Jersey City University and faced Penn St.-Behrend (11-25, 10-25, 5-25), Lehman (22-25, 11-25, 26-28) and the host Gothic Knights from NJCU (6-25, 18-25, 18-25).

The Bison set a program record for points in a set when Gallaudet recorded 26 in the third and final set against Lehman. Sophomore middle hitter Eric Setzer (Middletown, Md.) led the Bison with six kills and freshman libero James Wilson (Tucson, Ariz.) added 10 digs and had a pair of service aces.

GU's match-up with Penn St.-Behrend, a second-year program, saw the Lions hold the Bison to 11 or fewer points in every set. Wilson recorded eight digs while the team only had eight kills.

Gallaudet wrapped up Saturday's NJCU Quad with a tough match against the host Gothic Knights. Wilson and freshman Isaac Flink (Vancouver, British Columbia) finished with 10 digs each while sophomore Manuel Rivero (Lima, Peru) led the team with two service aces and three kills.

Wilson led the team with 11 digs on Sunday against CCNY (4-4). Freshman Andrew Biskupiak (Frederick, Md.) had four kills and six digs while Rivero tallied a team best five kills and one service ace.
