Box Score COBLESKILL, N.Y. – A second half goal by
Said Lakrik (Washington, D.C.) was not enough for Gallaudet University as it fell to SUNY Cobleskill, 2-1, Saturday afternoon in a North Eastern Athletic Conference men's soccer matchup.
Lakrik scored Gallaudet's lone goal on a penalty kick in the 68th minute to tie the score at one apiece. The freshman midfielder now has two goals on the season. Lakrik was one of only two Bison to record a shot on goal in the contest, with seven (eight total shots). The other was senior defender
Jeremy Wagoner (Pittsburgh, Pa.) who recorded one shot on the afternoon for Gallaudet (2-7, 0-4 NEAC).
Freshman midfielder Shaquan Bailey scored the eventual game-winning goal for the Fighting Tigers (3-6, 2-3 NEAC) in the 86th minute on a blast from 22 yards out. Zach Horvath got the scoring started 10 minutes into the second half when he fired a strike into the far corner of the net from 18 yards out to get the Fighting Tigers on the scoreboard.

Eric Setzer (Middletown, Md.) was stout in net as he faced 11 shots on goal (nine saves) and allowed two goals.
The two teams have faced each other three times since 2010 and every game has been decided by one goal. The last time Gallaudet visited SUNY Cobleskill the Bison won 1-0 to end a 63-game losing streak.
The Bison will look to end their seven-game losing streak on Sunday, Sept. 30, as they stay in the state of New York and travel over to face SUNYIT at 2 p.m. in a NEAC contest.
